On the “Thanks Dad with Ego Nwodim” podcast, O’Connell revealed, “Well, I have to tell you, my wife, Rebecca Romijn, rubs crystals under her arms.”

He didn’t hold back, stating, “And I’m here to tell everyone, it doesn’t work.”
O’Connell, 52, continued with a candid confession: “Now I don’t mind the way my wife — it doesn’t offend me. I actually, ah — this is gonna get a little dirty — I kind of like it when I can smell my wife’s body odor.”

He elaborated, “It’s kind of like, yea — she’s alive, we’re alive, we’re living. It’s, like, a little kicking and like, it’s a little funky town.”

O’Connell and Romijn, 53, tied the knot in 2007 after her divorce from “Full House” star John Stamos.
The couple shares twin daughters, Dolly O’Connell and Charlie O’Connell, who are 17 years old.

O’Connell has been vocal about his relationship with Romijn. He recounted a moment when his mother offered to bail him out of marriage during an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Mark.”

In that joint interview with his mother, Linda O’Connell, Jerry recalled her saying, “You don’t have to do this,” as they headed to the ceremony.

“You don’t gotta do this! I’m just sayin’! You can, if you want… You can go to the airport — no questions. We’ll cover for you. It’s okay. You sure about this? She’s a beautiful girl, she’s very nice, but you sure about this?” Jerry remembered his mom saying.
Despite the humorous moment, the “Sliders” alum reassured everyone that Linda “loves” Romijn, and she confirmed his statement by saying, “I do.”

Romijn recently shared insights into their long-lasting marriage. She emphasized the importance of keeping their finances separate while maintaining a “community pot” for shared expenses.

“The one who’s not working gets a little bit of a break and the one who is working puts in a little more,” she explained on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” last July. “And we really tag-team with work.”
Romijn also mentioned their agreement that “one of them would always stay home” with their children, asserting, “No one else is ever going to raise them besides us.”
