Joe Rogan Dominates Young Republicans, Leaves Trump in the Dust

Jul 16 2026

CNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten dropped a bombshell: Joe Rogan is a titan among young Republicans, boasting a net popularity of +62 points, dwarfing Donald Trump’s +28 points.

Rogan’s appeal cuts through the GOP ranks, capturing the hearts of those aged 18 to 44 who lean Republican or voted for Trump in 2024. This demographic is clearly enamored with Rogan, as Enten pointed out, citing polling data from The New York Times.

In stark contrast, Tucker Carlson lags behind with a mere +18 points. Enten emphasized that Rogan is “far more popular” with young Republicans than both Trump and Carlson.

“If you want to appeal to young Republicans, the place you want to go to is you want to go on Joe Rogan’s podcast,” Enten stated, just after Vice President JD Vance made an appearance on the show.

During his time on the “Joe Rogan Experience,” Vance deflected criticism towards former Attorney General Pam Bondi regarding the Epstein files and attempted to justify Trump’s unpopular stance on the Iran war.

Enten also highlighted Rogan’s favorability among non-voters from the 2024 election, where he holds a net favorability of +12 points. In comparison, the Democratic Socialists of America are struggling with a net favorability of -22 points within this same group, according to polling from The Times and Marquette University Law School.

When pitted against potential 2028 presidential contenders like Vance and California Governor Gavin Newsom (D), Rogan remains on the “positive side of the ledger,” with a net favorability of +2 points among all voters. Vance trails at -11 points, while Newsom sinks further with -19 points.
