Kamala Harris Rages After ICE Shooting of ‘Illegal Alien’ Who Allegedly Tried to Run Them Over

Kamala Harris unleashed fury over the fatal shooting of a Colombian national, Joan Sebastian Guerrero, who allegedly attempted to run over ICE agents. The former Vice President's outrage was met with immediate fact-checking and backlash online.

“Joan Sebastian Guerrero should still be alive,” Harris declared on X, labeling the 26-year-old as an “illegal alien” involved in an ICE operation in Maine. The Department of Homeland Security reported that Guerrero attempted to flee the scene.

“This is the second time in a week that ICE agents have killed someone who — by their own admission — was not the subject of their operation,” she continued, emphasizing the tragedy witnessed by Guerrero’s three-year-old daughter.

Harris demanded an “immediate, independent, and transparent investigation” into the shooting, insisting that “anyone responsible for wrongdoing must be held accountable.”

The backlash was swift. Critics pointed out her role as “border czar” under President Joe Biden. One user fired back, “I will start giving a f—k about the illegals killed by ICE when Democrats start giving a f—k about Americans killed by illegals.”

Another user charged, “Someone needs to be investigated — namely the two individuals who opened our borders up for 4 YEARS allowing the worst of the worst in here to rob, r*ape and k*ll us.”

Harris faced accusations of responsibility for deaths caused by illegal crossings during her tenure as Vice President. An average of 2.4 million migrants entered the US each year during Biden's presidency, marking the largest surge in history.

On the day of the incident, ICE officers were surveilling a known address of an illegal migrant with a deportation order when Guerrero fled in a vehicle. He allegedly refused to stop for federal officers, prompting a chase.

DHS stated, “The vehicle attempted to flee the scene and, fearing for public safety, an officer discharged his weapon.” Guerrero was struck and later died from his injuries.

Witness Lucas Scott, 18, recounted the chaos, stating that officers surrounded Guerrero's car and drew their weapons as he drove directly at them. “The car was put into drive and was trying to hit the ICE officer,” Scott reported, noting that an agent fired approximately four shots in response.

Guerrero had authorization to work in the US and possessed a Social Security number, according to Presente! Maine, an aid organization based in Portland.

The DHS Inspector General announced an investigation into the shooting.

Just last week, Harris criticized ICE over another deadly incident involving Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston. Araujo’s family referred to him as “El mundo entero” — the whole world. DHS claimed he tried to ram his car into ICE officers during a traffic stop.

Harris expressed outrage over Araujo’s death, stating he was “shot and killed by ICE agents on his way to work.” She extended prayers to Araujo’s family and called for an immediate investigation.
