Katie Price Unleashes the Dark Origins of Her Jordan Persona

Jul 08 2026

Katie Price, the controversial figure, has pulled back the curtain on the creation of her alter ego, Jordan.

The new documentary series, Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, dives deep into her tumultuous journey, now streaming on Sky Documentaries and NOW.

At the height of her notoriety, the 48-year-old was primarily known as Jordan, a name she explains in the series' opening episode.

Her modeling career kicked off at 18 in 1996 when she registered with a modeling agency and landed a Page Three gig.

She recounted, "Every day, different girl going topless in the paper and they all had this girl next door look." The absurdity of it all is not lost on her as she reflects on that era.

She elaborated on how the Jordan persona was born from a specific shoot. "This job was for The Sun. And he said, 'But we’ll change your name for it.' We come up with different names, Emily, Lisa, Linda, all this." Then came the pivotal moment: "And he said 'What about Jordan?' And I said 'That’ll do.' As flippant as that."

However, adopting this new identity came with significant hurdles. In the second episode, she revealed, "The public would see me as Jordan. There was no existence of Katie Price."

She noted that everyone wanted Jordan, so she played the part. "I would just give them Jordan," she stated. Only her family and friends knew the real Katie Price.

She lamented how this perception has impacted her life: "I suppose it’s affected me in life going forwards because people just see me as an 'It girl', a f**k girl, mother from hell." She added, "Not girlfriend material or a girl you’d want to take home to your parents."

Jordan is a part of her, but it’s only a fragment of who she truly is. "That’s where it gets difficult," she concluded.

Katie Price: Nothing to Hide is available to watch on Sky Documentaries and NOW.
