Kelsey Grammer Slammed as 'Rubbish Person' After Meeting with Trump
Kelsey Grammer's recent rendezvous with Donald Trump has sent shockwaves through his fanbase, branding him a "rubbish person." The actor met the 79-year-old former president in the Oval Office, stirring outrage among those who once admired him.
The 71-year-old actor was in Washington, DC, for a screening of Young Washington, a biopic where he portrays Thomas Fairfax, a British-born American painter. The film focuses on George Washington's early life before the Revolutionary War.

During their meeting, the two discussed the film, politics, and family matters. Grammer left with a bag of promotional items, including hats and a Bible. This isn't the first time he's faced backlash; he previously called Trump "one of the greatest presidents we've ever had," igniting a firestorm of criticism online.
Fans took to social media to express their discontent. One user lamented, "Frasier was an amazing show. Really witty. KG has had a really traumatic life so I can see why he’s ended up a mess, but yeah, he’s a rubbish person."
Another chimed in with disappointment over his political alignment: "I’m so disappointed that Kelsey Grammer is MAGA."

Critics didn't hold back, with one declaring, "This is why I don’t like that a--hole. Don’t give a s--t how many people praise Frasier or whatever he’s in. He’s trash."
One more fan stated bluntly, "Frasier is dead to me," while another vowed to stop watching anything featuring Grammer.

Grammer has hinted at a potential political career while promoting his new Fox Nation docuseries, The Patriot War. He expressed openness to serving in politics, stating, "It would possibly tick that box for me, in terms of the service I feel I should have given to my fellow man — to my fellow countrymen — that I missed in the military."
Despite his interest, he acknowledged that now isn't the right time due to his responsibilities as a father. Grammer has eight children from four different relationships: Spencer, Greer, Mason, Jude, Faith, Kelsey, Auden, and Christopher.
He elaborated on his family commitments: "I have a young family. I don’t want to be an absentee dad, so I put it on hold a little bit, but I do intend to live for quite a while." He remains optimistic about his future involvement in politics: "I’m still pretty vital... it’s likely I will at least throw my hat in the ring in some way."
