Brother of Trump’s Aide Rips Sister’s ‘Toxic’ Bond with President

Jun 26 2026

The estranged brother of Natalie Harp, Donald Trump’s personal aide, has unleashed a scathing critique of her relationship with the president, labeling it “very unhealthy.”

Harp, who serves as Trump’s executive assistant, has earned the nickname “Human Printer” for her role in printing out media reports for him. She is constantly by his side, leaving behind adoring notes that reveal the depths of her devotion.

Preston Harp, who has relocated to Nicaragua and holds starkly different views from his sister, expressed disbelief over her allegiance to Trump. He described the 80-year-old president as “a national embarrassment.”

“She’s just like his fan club,” he remarked, criticizing his sister’s unwavering loyalty to Trump.

The siblings became estranged in 2020 after their father, Robert Harp, died by suicide, according to an Orange County coroner. This tragedy led to a family rift, severing ties between Preston and both his sister and mother, whom he characterized as “deeply religious.”

Preston discovered his sister’s employment with Trump through a news article in 2023. “I had no idea,” he stated. “It just kind of caused some cognitive dissonance…I don't understand why my sister, or anyone could want to work for Trump.”

White House Spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt defended Harp, stating, “Natalie Harp is one of the most loyal and hardest working aides on President Trump's team.”

Natalie Harp previously worked as a right-wing cable television host and caught Trump’s attention in 2019 with her cancer survival story. He invited her to speak at the 2020 Republican National Convention, and she joined his staff in 2022.

The book "Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump" by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan details Harp's long-standing closeness with Trump, even after he lost the 2020 election and moved to Florida.

While on the golf course, she provided him with “positive news stories and social media comments.” Reports indicate she is behind many of Trump’s posts on Truth Social, including controversial ones, and has left uplifting notes for him in personal spaces. One note read: “You are all that matters to me.”

The peculiar dynamic between Harp and Trump prompted White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles to question her surroundings, reportedly thinking, “Where am I?”

White House spokesman Kush Desai previously defended Natalie Harp, asserting that no president has fostered as much loyalty among staff as Trump. He claimed this loyalty reflects Trump’s commitment to the country and its people.

“Natalie Harp is a beloved White House Official, and the Fake News Media will never understand what it’s like to be as trusted and admired as her,” Desai stated.
