Trump's Outrageous Fabrication: UFC Event Claims Shatter Reality
Donald Trump stood before a crowd in Pennsylvania and declared the UFC White House event as "the highest-rated fight show ever in the history of television," a statement that defies all logic and truth.
At a rally held at the Mack Trucks facility in Macungie, he welcomed UFC fighter Bo Nickal and freestyle wrestler Anthony Cassar, both alumni of Penn State University, to the stage while pushing his economic agenda.

Nickal, who recently triumphed over Kyle Daukaus by technical knockout in the first round at UFC Freedom 250 on June 14, received personal praise from Trump after his fight. The President made a phone call to Nickal during the post-fight press conference, confirming his identity when Nickal answered.
As Trump introduced Nickal at the rally, he boasted about the UFC Freedom 250 event, making absurd claims about its ratings. "We have a very special guest who you just saw on the highest-rated fight show ever in the history of television, the UFC Freedom 250," he proclaimed.
This assertion about UFC Freedom 250 being "the highest-rated fight show ever" is patently false. Recent data revealed that the event, streamed live on Paramount+, averaged 8.2 million viewers—over 100 million fewer than Super Bowl LX, which attracted 124.9 million viewers earlier this year.

According to Paramount, the show reached a total of 17 million viewers across the U.S. and Latin America, with an average of 8.2 million viewers (7 million in the U.S., 1.2 million in Latin America). Nineteen of the top 20 most-watched telecasts in U.S. history are Super Bowls, according to Nielsen, with no other show or sporting event coming close.
Paramount has indicated that global viewership figures for the White House event will be released later, but these numbers are unlikely to approach Trump's inflated claims.
Following his outrageous comments at the rally, Trump faced significant backlash online. Critics wasted no time in expressing their disbelief and frustration. "What planet is this old fool living on?" one user questioned on X. Another remarked, "Talking out his ass."
