Tucker Carlson Declares MAGA 'Dead' and Calls Trump 'Weak' in Brutal Take

Jun 25 2026

Carlson ripped into Trump, branding him a "b----" and labeling him "weak," igniting a firestorm among MAGA supporters. The former Fox News host's comments come amid escalating tensions within the Republican Party.

Laura Loomer, a staunch Trump ally, unleashed her fury on Carlson for his blatant disrespect. She highlighted his derogatory remarks, stating, "Tucker hates Trump," and accused him of being "very disrespectful."

Once a loyal supporter of Trump, Carlson severed ties with the Republican Party this week. His breakaway follows a series of criticisms aimed at Trump's handling of the Iran conflict.

During an appearance on Jack Neel's podcast, Carlson pointed to Trump's extensive history of social media threats against Iran as evidence of the president's weakness. "After like the 400th Truth Social, they reached the same conclusion that everyone on the globe reached, which is 'this guy's not strong, he's weak,'" he stated.

Carlson elaborated on his view of strength, saying, "Strong people don’t brag about how strong they are; they just punch you in the face and end the conversation." He drew from personal experience, recalling his father's boxing wisdom about two types of fighters.

He described the first type as those who bluster and threaten but lack real power. The second type, he warned, are the silent ones who strike without warning. Carlson asserted that Trump fits into the first category: "Trump is very much 'What did you say?!' Shut up b----. I don’t take you seriously."

Loomer quickly responded to Carlson's tirade by sharing a clip of his interview on X, emphasizing his disrespectful tone toward Trump. She reiterated her disdain for Carlson's comments.

In distancing himself from the Republican Party, Carlson declared there was "no chance" he would support them ahead of the Midterms. He questioned how any American could back a party that lacks loyalty to the United States.

"It’s not possible to vote for people like that, and I’m not going to," he stated during an episode of the Can't Be Censored podcast. He also made it clear he has no plans to support Democrats either.

Carlson expressed uncertainty about his voting intentions moving forward. Once a vocal advocate for Trump, he now finds himself at odds with the former president.

A rift has widened between Carlson and Trump since the onset of the Iran war. Reports indicate Carlson met with Trump to dissuade him from military action, citing principles of the MAGA movement that prioritize America First and anti-interventionism.

Despite Carlson's warnings, Trump proceeded with military strikes in February. In April, Carlson publicly apologized for endorsing Trump, claiming voters had been misled.

"I do think it’s a moment to wrestle with our own consciences. We’ll be tormented by it for a long time," he admitted. "I want to say I’m sorry for misleading people."

On Wednesday, Carlson declared the MAGA movement has "no future." When asked by Sky News' Yalda Hakim about its prospects in light of the Iran war, he laughed dismissively.

"The future of the MAGA... Well, that’s over. There’s no future of the MAGA movement, obviously, we’re done," he said bluntly.

Carlson further questioned the very definition of the MAGA movement, stating, "Trump has defined it as whatever he wants. Well, that’s not a movement."
