MAGA Supporter Attacks 'No Kings' Protester, Flees from Law Enforcement

Mar 28 2026

During a live report from West Palm Beach, Florida, correspondent Jake Traylor detailed a confrontation at a “No Kings” protest opposing President Trump. The event drew thousands, while a small group of Trump supporters staged a counterprotest just a short distance away.

“I’d estimate there are about 2,000 to 3,000 people at the ‘No Kings’ protest,” Traylor informed viewers. “Meanwhile, the pro-Trump gathering has only a couple dozen participants.”

Traylor recounted how tensions escalated when a Trump supporter crossed the caution tape to confront demonstrators. “It got physical for a moment,” he noted, as footage of the altercation was displayed. A local witness confirmed the incident.

Michael, a participant in the “No Kings” protest, described the scene: “These two gentlemen were yelling and screaming at us, while we remained completely silent.” He recounted how a young woman began photographing one of the Trump supporters, prompting an aggressive reaction. “One of the guys swung at her, knocking her camera out of her hands, and I believe it cracked,” he said.

After witnessing the assault, Michael confronted the attacker, warning him that he would face arrest. He quickly alerted nearby law enforcement. “I ran over to the parking lot where about a dozen officers were gathered and shouted, ‘There’s an assault in progress,’ and they all came running,” he explained.

As police arrived, the assailant attempted to flee. “He started running from the police,” Michael reported, indicating that officers pursued him.

Political violence has been a contentious topic, with Trump often attributing blame to “the left” while his own rhetoric has been scrutinized for inciting conflict. Last year, he controversially suggested that Democratic veterans in Congress should face severe consequences for their actions.

Calls for bipartisan dialogue have emerged from lawmakers seeking to end the blame game regarding political violence. A recent study by the National Institute of Justice highlighted that far-right attacks are on the rise, surpassing other forms of domestic extremism. However, this report was removed from the Justice Department's website in September.
