While recounting the barrage of death threats she’s faced amid Trump’s public attacks, Greene took a moment to throw shade at the FBI Director. “I did hear from Kash Patel. He said ‘on it’, but I haven’t heard from him since,” she quipped, pausing for effect before adding, “I don’t know what he’s on.” The crowd erupted in laughter, likely aware of the swirling rumors about Patel’s alleged drunken escapades at work.

In April, The Atlantic dropped a bombshell report detailing Patel’s supposed drinking issues and mysterious absences. Patel fired back, labeling the article as “obviously fabricated” and accusing the writer of trying to sabotage his career.

As the speech progressed, Greene revealed that Trump had blamed her for the death threats she received. “Trump proceeded to tell me that it was my fault, and that I deserve it. If my son gets killed, I deserve it, because I was a traitor to him,” she fumed.

Earlier this year, during an interview with Piers Morgan, Greene defended her stance on supporting rape victims, asserting, “Standing up for rape victims doesn’t make me a traitor.” This was in reference to her push for the release of DOJ files related to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, which reportedly led to Trump distancing himself from her.

In a surprising twist, Greene announced her resignation from Congress in November, effective January 5, 2026. In her resignation statement, she declared, “I refuse to be a ‘battered wife’ hoping it all goes away and gets better.”

She continued with a fiery message: “If I am cast aside by MAGA Inc. and replaced by Neocons, Big Pharma, Big Tech, Military Industrial War Complex, foreign leaders, and the elite donor class that can’t even relate to real Americans, then many common Americans have been cast aside and replaced as well.”
