Megyn Kelly Unleashes Fury on Trump’s ‘Turncoat’ Supreme Court Justice: ‘She’s One of Ours!’

Jun 30 2026

Megyn Kelly erupted in fury over Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett, a Trump appointee, after Barrett voted to uphold mail-in voting in Mississippi, defying the former president's administration.

“Justice Amy Coney Barrett, a Trump appointee, she’s supposed to be one of ours. Why do ours — Why are they always so wiggly?” Kelly blasted on her show. “Honestly, like the libs, you can take it to the bank. [Elena] Kagan, [Sonia] Sotomayor, Ketanji Brown Jackson. I have to admire their commitment to their side. They never abandon their side.”

Barrett authored the 5-4 majority opinion, asserting that “the federal election-day statutes do not preempt Mississippi’s law because the defining element of an ‘election’ has always been the electorate’s choice of candidate.”

This ruling ignited outrage among conservatives. Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) slammed Barrett’s opinion as “shockingly wrong,” while Rep. Abe Hamadeh (R-Ariz.) labeled it “disastrous.”

Right-wing influencer Joey Mannarino didn’t hold back, branding Barrett “a gigantic fucking disaster of a Supreme Court appointment.” He added, “Absolutely horrible in the long run. She totally forgot who appointed her to the Court. Scum of the earth.”

Barrett’s decisions have previously drawn ire from MAGA supporters. Many turned against her after she sided with liberal justices against the president’s use of the wartime Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to deport Venezuelan migrants.

On Tuesday, Kelly labeled Barrett “a turncoat,” criticizing her for “constantly siding with the left.”

Kelly also targeted Chief Justice John Roberts, accusing him of “pursuing the wrong agenda.”

“‘He’s an institutionalist meant to protect the Supreme Court,’” Kelly mocked. “That’s not your job. That’s not your job in the actual decision-making.”

“We were supposed to have 6-3 conservatives to libs,” Kelly stated. “And today, we only had four conservatives. That’s how we lost, because Roberts and Barrett jumped over to the liberal side, and Barrett even wrote the court’s majority opinion.”
