Sicko Sentenced: Paedophile Raped Kids as Young as 10, Victim Declares 'He Didn't Just Steal My Childhood'
A monster has been locked away for over a decade after being convicted of horrific sexual crimes against children, including a 10-year-old girl. Callum Waterhouse, a 27-year-old from Llwyn-Yr-Eos in Wales, was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court for his vile acts that shattered innocent lives.
Waterhouse's reign of terror began when he moved to Bristol at 18, where he groomed and repeatedly assaulted his first victim. The sickening details emerged during an eight-day trial that concluded in March, revealing the depths of his depravity.
After returning to Wales at 19, he targeted another young girl, subjecting her to repeated sexual abuse. The police were alerted in 2018 when the first victim reached out to the second, leading to a chain reaction that finally brought Waterhouse to justice.

Convicted of nine charges, including multiple counts of rape and sexual assault, Waterhouse's crimes were compounded by the fact that some charges encompassed several incidents. The investigation was lengthy and complex, with additional disclosures from the first victim in 2023 prompting further charges.
Despite the trial being initially set for November 2024, it was pushed back to February 2026. On March 5, 2026, the jury delivered their verdict: guilty on all counts. The judge handed down a 16-year sentence on May 7, with Waterhouse required to serve at least nine-and-a-half years before he can even think about parole.
In addition to his prison time, Waterhouse is now subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will be on the Sex Offenders Register for life. His first victim spoke out powerfully after the sentencing, stating: "Callum Waterhouse didnโt just take my childhood; he took my teenage years. The pain and trauma will live with me forever, but I refuse to let it define me." Her words echo the deep scars left by his actions.
She continued, "No jail time will ever give me back what I lost. I blame him for the person Iโve become, for my struggles in relationships, and for turning men into my biggest fear." Her bravery in coming forward has been pivotal in this case.

The second victim shared her own harrowing experience: "I felt lost and unsure about how to transition into adulthood. Eight years of grief and worry have held me back from living my life." Her testimony adds another layer to the devastating impact of Waterhouse's crimes.
Addressing Waterhouse directly, one victim declared: "Today, I walk away from this, leaving all the evil and darkness with you. I give you my pain and fears; they will now be yours. I will build a beautiful life for myself." Her defiance is a testament to her strength.
Detective Inspector Simon Da Costa, who led the investigation, praised the victims' courage: "This has been a lengthy and complex investigation. Their resilience has been key in securing this conviction." He emphasized that the sentence reflects the serious harm caused by Waterhouse and expressed hope that the victims find some solace knowing he is behind bars.
The community is left reeling from the revelations of Waterhouse's actions, but there is a glimmer of hope as justice has been served. The victims' voices have finally been heard, and their strength shines through the darkness inflicted upon them.
