Spain Slams Door on Trump’s World Cup Crash, Leaves Him in the Dust
Donald Trump’s attempt to hijack Spain's World Cup final celebrations ended in humiliation as he was left red-faced by a key player in front of cameras.
Trump crashed the scene as Spain decisively defeated Argentina, thanks to a Ferran Torres extra-time winner. The match concluded with unsavory incidents involving Argentina players and staff that went unnoticed by live TV cameras.
Spain's squad finally lifted the trophy during a presentation that included Trump and FIFA chief Gianni Infantino, who faced boos upon entering the field. A lip reader revealed Infantino's desperate plea to Trump, which he brazenly ignored, marking a cringe-worthy moment.
Trump, never one to step back from the spotlight, refused to leave the podium while Spain's players celebrated their victory. Infantino had to rush over to urge Trump to step aside as he intruded on the festivities of the European and world champions, but predictably, Trump did not comply.

Official photographs captured Trump shamelessly clapping and waving to the crowd while captain Rodri lifted the trophy just meters away.
Spain ensured that Trump could not steal their moment of glory by cropping him out of their celebratory social media posts. After leaving the final in New Jersey, Trump praised Spain for their second World Cup victory.
He stated, "They both played well. I would say Spain played better. It was very exciting. It looked like Spain dominated but it was a very close match."
Reflecting on the tournament, he added, "It is one of the greatest events of any kind. We are really happy it did so well. People have come from all over the world and loved our country. We have showed our country in a different light and it was a great thing."

Trump notably remained silent on Messi, who was awkwardly pulled back by the president in a cringeworthy moment caught on camera.
The tournament, hosted across the US, Canada, and Mexico, has faced mixed reactions amid visa controversies and off-field incidents, including Trump's interference in reversing a red card issued to USA striker Folarin Balogun.
FIFA also violated its own regulations during Sunday’s half-time show, yet Trump remains optimistic about the World Cup returning to American soil soon.
He declared, "Based on the numbers we will be requesting it immediately. We have to do this again, and we have to do this again while I am around, hear that Gianni?"
"You should choose the United States of America again. This time, we will leave Canada and Mexico out. You choose us and pick somebody else for the next one, and that’ll take some of the anger, hatred, and steam out of everyone."
