Tragic Sleepover Ends in Sudden Death of 5-Year-Old Boy
A 5-year-old boy died suddenly during a sleepover, leaving his family grappling with shock and grief. Jagger Wing, an avid Spider-Man fan, was found unresponsive at a family friend's home in Newburgh, Indiana, on May 30, before succumbing to his condition in a hospital.
The circumstances surrounding Jagger's death remain unclear. His mother, Alex, disclosed that their family has a history of underlying heart conditions, yet medical professionals are still investigating the cause of this tragedy.

Just hours before his untimely passing, Jagger was playing energetically with friends. Alex recounted how he had been active outside, enjoying the company of his peers during the sleepover.
“He was with his friends. He was staying the night at a friend’s house when it happened,” she stated, expressing her anguish over not being there in that moment.
Described by family friends as “a beautiful, energetic, loving, caring, and pure soul,” Jagger was set to start kindergarten in August. His enthusiasm for life was evident; he had just learned to ride a bike and loved to engage with everything around him.
His father, Damon, shared that Jagger was eager to emulate wrestling moves he had seen on television. “He wanted to wrestle,” Damon said, emphasizing his son's active nature.
“There was no sitting on your butt. He wanted to try for a double leg. He watched every UFC fight with me. He just loved the game.”

Despite his passion for sports, Jagger also exhibited a nurturing side. Alex noted that he was “definitely a protector of his sisters.”
In the wake of this tragedy, Jagger’s siblings have undergone testing for any potential heart issues, but results have returned normal.
A fundraiser has been established to assist with funeral expenses, raising over $20,000 to date.
