Trump Caught Napping Again Amidst Fertilizer Crisis and White House Fury

Donald Trump, the Commander-in-Chief, was filmed seemingly dozing off during a roundtable discussion in Wisconsin, where the focus was on skyrocketing fertilizer and energy costs impacting farmers amid the U.S. war with Iran.

As attendees praised his leadership, Trump appeared to nod off, closing his eyes and tilting his head down. The footage sparked outrage online, despite the White House's attempts to suppress the narrative with a furious response from their Rapid Response social media account.

During a press conference in the Oval Office discussing what he calls "beautiful, clean" coal, Trump, at 79 years old, was seen slouched in his seat. A viral post from this event racked up over 5 million views, showing him struggling to keep his eyes open.

The video captured Trump’s eyes gradually closing, with a brief moment of them opening as he fought against sleep. The clip was labeled with a stark observation: "Trump appears to be completely passed out asleep during his 3pm Oval Office announcement."

In a follow-up post, a user sarcastically questioned how long it would take for the White House to claim he was merely "blinking." This prompted an intense reaction from the administration.

The Rapid Response account lashed out at critics, stating, "His eyes are literally open in the clip you posted, you dumba-- mouth-breathers." They shared a screenshot from the video showing Trump’s eyes open for a split second before shutting again.

Other users on social media quickly countered the White House's defense. One remarked, "That was a flash second of his eyes opening," while another chimed in, "Lmao his eyes are hardly open; that’s the look of someone who just woke up from a nap." A third user noted, "He looks like he’s wasted or completely out of it. That’s not normal behavior of a grown ‘healthy’ adult."

Another user pointed out the drooping on the right side of Trump's face, speculating about potential drool slipping from his lips during these "states of deep relaxation." A different commenter added that regardless of whether he was sleeping or not, he lacked the alertness expected in meetings.

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle dismissed claims about Trump's alleged daytime napping habits, asserting, "President Trump is the sharpest, most accessible, and energetic president in American history."

This incident isn't isolated; Trump has faced accusations of dozing off during official engagements before. Recently, Marco Rubio was caught in an embarrassing moment when footage revealed Trump's drowsiness during a Cabinet meeting.

During intense questioning about Trump's alertness in consecutive hearings before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and a House Appropriations subcommittee, Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) presented Rubio with footage showing Trump hunched forward with his eyes shut. Lieu asked Rubio if he had witnessed Trump falling asleep in more than one meeting.

Rubio denied it vehemently, claiming, "That’s false, that’s false. I’ve never seen him fall asleep." He insisted that Trump doesn’t sleep at all, stating, "On the contrary, the guy doesn’t sleep, which is a big problem because he calls me at two in the morning, he calls me at five in the morning."

Rubio continued to assert Trump's work ethic, mentioning that Trump was in the Oval Office until 12:30am. He quickly corrected himself as he grew agitated, concluding with, "I don’t know what you’re talking about."
