Trump Caught Napping Again: Newsom Unleashes Fury on Sleepy Commander

Donald Trump has been caught dozing off yet again, this time during an Oval Office event, raising serious questions about his ability to lead.

Footage shows Trump with his eyes closed and head drooping, only to jolt awake moments later, startled. California Governor Gavin Newsom seized the moment to criticize Trump’s lethargic demeanor, posting on X, “We miss having a president who stayed awake on the job.”

The clip, shared late Friday, captures Trump napping while faith adviser Paula White-Cain lavished praise on him, claiming, “Nobody has stood up like you have stood up.” This event featured members of his Religious Liberty Commission, predominantly conservative Christians. Meanwhile, Trump faces scrutiny over a "very unhealthy" relationship with a 34-year-old aide.

“Trump fell asleep during a public event in the Oval Office. Shame on his family and advisers for putting him through this. This is elder abuse. 25th Amendment now!” tweeted Republicans Against Trump in response to the footage.

Newsom, a prominent critic of the president and a potential contender for the 2028 election, has made it clear he won’t hold back. This isn’t the first instance of Trump being caught napping while receiving accolades. Earlier this month, at a farming event in Wisconsin, attendees praised him for his leadership while he appeared to nod off, eyes closing and head tilting down.

Despite these repeated incidents, the White House insists Trump is in excellent health. Spokesperson Davis Ingle defended the president’s performance, claiming his “sharpness, unmatched energy, and historic accessibility” surpass that of former President Joe Biden, who Ingle accused of receiving media assistance to mask his “serious mental and physical decline.”

Ingle stated, “President Trump is the sharpest and most accessible President in American history who is working nonstop to solve problems and deliver on his promises.”

This latest episode follows a disturbing discovery at the bottom of the Washington DC Reflecting Pool that further complicates Trump’s narrative.
