Trump's Bizarre Body Part Inspections: From Senator's Rear to Sausage Fingers

President Donald Trump launched into an anatomical examination of Senator Jon Husted’s fingers during a rally in Texas, showcasing his peculiar sense of humor.

Unprovoked, Trump shifted focus to Husted while urging support for Attorney General Ken Paxton in a crucial U.S. Senate race. He recounted his initial “study session” of the Ohio Republican’s backside.

“I made the mistake of saying that I started off by studying his ass; I just wanted to say —,” Trump began, referencing his earlier comments.

He continued, “And then I looked at his feet, and they were massive. Then I looked at his hands. See, these hands? These are nice hands, they’re fine. He had fingers like sausages.”

Trump added, “I looked at his hands, I said, ‘Look at it, guys.’ And then I patted him on the shoulder, I said, ‘Great job, Jonny.’”

At a previous rally in Michigan, Trump made similar remarks about Husted’s fingers. He also repeated his unfounded assertion that Husted’s polling numbers improved due to his comments about the senator’s anatomy, despite evidence showing Husted’s Democratic opponent Sherrod Brown leads in most recent polls.

“Maybe I should do that with Ken Paxton. But I’m not sure your body is going to qualify,” Trump quipped while gesturing toward the Texas AG. “I’m going to do it with Ken.”

MS NOW’s Lawrence O’Donnell criticized Trump’s remarks, suggesting the president’s mental state appeared to deteriorate as he hyped up a senator unfamiliar to his Texas audience.

O’Donnell remarked, “Now Donald Trump is taking it to the point of identifying those body parts as things he likes to eat.”

He further noted, “Donald Trump’s cognitive ability only moves in one direction, and it’s moving fast because what Donald Trump said about that senator’s ass tonight in Texas is now noticeably crazier than what he was saying about that senator’s ass a week ago, or that senator’s ass two weeks ago.”

“Morning Joe” featured Trump’s rally comments prominently on Wednesday, with host Mika Brzezinski highlighting the moment by stating, “President Trump finally finds a man’s body that he doesn’t like.”
