Donald Trump can't face the reality that he was met with a chorus of boos at Madison Square Garden during Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The President's delusional coping mechanism involved a bizarre Truth Social post following the game, where he claimed he was well-received while attending the Knicks versus Spurs matchup. The moment he appeared on the jumbo screens during The Star-Spangled Banner, thousands of fans unleashed a wave of boos.

After the Knicks' crushing defeat, Trump shared a post from Fox News contributor Nicole Parker, who claimed "NYC loves Donald Trump." This came after a clip from The Post Millennial showed Trump's motorcade cruising through New York City, where some shouted his name, but many others booed loudly.

Despite the overwhelming negative reception, Trump insisted he was welcomed warmly. "I thought it was great. I mean, I thought it was amazing, actually," he told reporters before boarding Air Force One. "It was certainly amazing. It was, it was, I think, mostly cheers. It was loud, and it was very enthusiastic."

Knicks fans were already furious about Trump's presence at the game, which caused significant security disruptions. Ticket holders had to arrive two hours early and endure long lines through TSA-style checkpoints. Outside the Garden, watch parties were canceled due to security measures.

New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch explained, "The NYPD, in coordination with the Secret Service, made the decision for Game 3, where we have a presidential visit, that we could not support watch parties right outside of the Garden." She added that they hoped to resume watch parties for Game 4.

During the game, the Knicks lost to the Spurs, ending their 13-game winning streak. Many fans pointed fingers at Trump for "cursing" the team.
