Trump’s Gaudy Oval Office Makeover Sparks Outrage: A Golden Nightmare
Trump’s obsession with a golden makeover of the Oval Office has critics reeling, as a new video reveals a gaudy spectacle of gold on nearly every surface.

White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino shared footage showcasing the extravagant redesign.
According to the book “Regime Change” by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, Trump took matters into his own hands, using superglue to affix golden embellishments to the fireplace mantel.
“As he was known to prefer his own aesthetic handiwork to anyone else’s, the sight of the president squeezing glue onto gilded appliqués and mounting them on the wall himself surprised no one in his inner circle,” they noted.
The gaudy upgrades extend beyond the Oval Office. Trump has adorned various areas of the White House with gold, including the exterior just outside the doors.
He transformed the Rose Garden into a “club” reminiscent of his Mar-a-Lago patio, paving over its original charm.
Last year, he demolished the East Wing to create a massive ballroom, a project he has openly fixated on.
The latest footage ignited a firestorm of criticism on X, with users lambasting the shiny new look of the Oval Office.
