Trump's War Ignites Chaos: Disconnect Between Him and His Team Exposed

Maggie Haberman dropped a bombshell on MS Now’s “The Moment with Katy Tur,” exposing Donald Trump’s staggering ignorance regarding the political fallout from his Iran war, which he launched in February.

The co-author of “Regime Change” highlighted that the White House is painfully aware of the backlash. The war has turned toxic among his MAGA base, who are reeling from Trump’s broken “America First” promises against entering another costly conflict.

But Trump? He’s in denial.

Katy Tur shared a shocking observation: “I was down the shore for the Fourth of July. I did not see one Trump flag, which is shocking. Not one.” She questioned whether Trump and his team grasp the depth of the MAGA base's discontent with the war.

Haberman disclosed that a Trump official expressed urgency for the Iran war to vanish from headlines by September.

“Well, this is not heading that way right now,” she warned. “They are very aware and concerned. He is not as focused on it as they are.”
