Trump Unleashes Bold New Warning to Iran: 'No More Mr. Nice Guy!'
President Trump has taken to social media, delivering a bold warning to Iran with a striking image of himself wielding an assault rifle, captioned: “No more Mr. Nice Guy!”
“Iran can’t get their act together,” he declared on Truth Social early Wednesday. “They don’t know how to sign a nonnuclear deal. They better get smart soon!”
The post featured a meme of Trump against a backdrop of explosions in the Middle East, dressed in a dark suit and sunglasses, gripping the firearm with an air of defiance.
After eight weeks of conflict, negotiations with Iran have stalled, with recent peace talks being called off. The situation remains tense as the U.S. military has closed off Iranian ports in response to escalating hostilities.

During a four-day visit from King Charles III, Trump emphasized the importance of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, stating during a White House dinner that the monarch “agrees” with his stance on the issue, intertwining royal diplomacy with a politically charged narrative.
“We’re doing a little Middle East work right now and we’re doing very well,” Trump remarked, asserting military success against Iran. “We’re never going to let that opponent have a nuclear weapon.”
A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace later clarified that the King is aware of his government’s established position on nuclear proliferation.
Earlier that day, Trump claimed on his platform that Iran had communicated its “State of Collapse,” requesting the U.S. to “Open the Hormuz Strait” as they navigate internal leadership challenges.

In retaliation for U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on February 28, Tehran launched strikes on Gulf states hosting American military assets and blockaded the Strait of Hormuz, a critical passage for global oil supply, leading to rising gas prices worldwide.
Despite the U.S. military's actions, the lack of diplomatic resolution continues to fuel global tensions. Trump also criticized German Chancellor Friedrich Merz for suggesting that Iran should possess nuclear capabilities, asserting that such a scenario would put the world at risk.
“If Iran had a Nuclear Weapon, the whole World would be held hostage,” he stated. “I am doing something with Iran, right now, that other Nations, or Presidents, should have done long ago.”
While Trump claims he feels no urgency to finalize a peace agreement with Iran, significant differences remain between both parties, leading to the cancellation of proposed peace talks in Pakistan.

Experts note that while Iran is losing approximately $435 million daily due to the closure of the Strait, its resilience amid U.S. pressure has been surprising. They caution that prolonged conflict could inadvertently strengthen the Iranian regime.
As midterm elections approach in November, Trump faces pressure to resolve the conflict before it impacts his approval ratings further. He and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth have touted military achievements in the ongoing war.
However, skepticism arises from Vice President JD Vance, who has reportedly questioned whether Trump is receiving accurate information about U.S. progress or merely hearing what he wants from military advisors.
