Usha Vance Crushed by Pitiful Turnout at Disastrous Great American State Fair

Jul 01 2026

Usha Vance stood before a crowd of just a few dozen at the Great American State Fair, a stark contrast to the grand expectations set by Donald Trump, who touted the event as the “Number One Attraction anywhere in the World.”

The fair, spanning 16 days on Washington's National Mall, has been plagued by a series of humiliating blunders, including empty state exhibits and technical failures. Attendance has been dismal, with Usha's event on Tuesday marking yet another low point.

At 10:30 am, Usha took the Legacy Stage to honor winners of a bookmark design competition. Footage from social media revealed the meager turnout, highlighting the event's failure to attract significant crowds. This comes on the heels of JD Vance's national security breach, which drew attention for its own embarrassing details.

During her speech, Mrs. Vance expressed enthusiasm for celebrating America’s 250th anniversary through art and outdoor activities, presenting awards for her “Bookmark Design Challenge to Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary.” The competition invited children from Kindergarten to 8th Grade to submit original bookmarks reflecting their interpretation of America.

The lack of attendance at Usha's event is just one of many disasters plaguing the State Fair. Problems began even before the festivities kicked off, with nearly all scheduled musical artists dropping out.

In response to the artist cancellations, Trump declared himself the headliner, boasting that he could draw larger crowds than Elvis Presley in his prime. However, when he delivered a campaign-style speech last week, he faced humiliation as attendees left early.

Sources reported that Trump was furious over the sparse crowd at his speech. He later claimed on Truth Social that the event was “packed to the brim” with 45,000 attendees, despite photographic evidence suggesting otherwise.

Subsequent footage has shown scattered crowds throughout the fair. Attendance issues are not the only concern; the centerpiece Ferris wheel, towering at 110 feet, has suffered power outages that led to melted ice cream in the food hall.

The fair features pavilions from every US state and territory, yet several states opted out of participation, leaving many exhibits notably empty.

Severe weather has also wreaked havoc on the event, prompting early closures announced via a sign that contained an embarrassing typo.

Vanilla Ice was among the few remaining artists scheduled to perform but canceled his concert just hours before it was set to begin on Friday night.

A chilling discovery at the bottom of the Washington DC Reflecting Pool has further exposed Trump amid this chaotic backdrop.
