On Friday, Vanessa Trump took to Instagram to show her support for her boyfriend, Tiger Woods, who recently faced serious legal troubles following a DUI arrest in Florida. In a simple yet poignant gesture, she shared a photo of the couple relaxing in a hammock, captioned with the words “Love you.”
Previously married to Donald Trump Jr., Vanessa shares five children with him. Their divorce was filed in 2018, and she began dating Woods, whose full name is Eldrick T. Woods, in March 2025.
The incident that led to Woods' arrest occurred last Friday around 2 p.m. on Jupiter Island, where he was driving a Range Rover. According to an affidavit from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, he collided with a Ford F-150, resulting in his vehicle rolling over.
Upon arrival, deputies noted that Woods was “sweating profusely” and found two pills in his pocket later identified as hydrocodone. Deputy Tatiana Levenar reported observing multiple signs of impairment during her interaction with Woods, who declined to take a blood-alcohol test.
“I observed his pupils to be extremely dilated,” Levenar stated in the affidavit. When asked about alcohol consumption, Woods claimed he had not drunk anything that day but admitted to taking “a few” prescription medications.
This is not Woods' first encounter with the law regarding DUI; he was previously arrested in 2017 after being found asleep at the wheel of his car. He attributed that incident to a mix of prescription medications causing an “unexpected reaction.”

In 2021, Woods was involved in a severe crash near Los Angeles that resulted in multiple injuries and subsequent surgeries. At 50 years old, he last competed in an official tournament in 2024, finishing near the bottom at the British Open.
Earlier this week, Vanessa also posted a photo of her daughter, 18-year-old golfer Kai Trump, at the Miami Open tennis tournament alongside her coach and fellow golfer Allan Kournikova.
Woods addressed the recent crash on Tuesday, acknowledging the gravity of his situation. “I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” he wrote on X. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.”
Donald Trump commented on the situation as well, stating to The New York Post, “He lives a life of pain. He has a lot of pain. He’s an amazing guy. He’s an amazing athlete. He does have pain. He doesn’t have an alcohol problem, but he does have pain.”
