Candace Owens Claims Erika Kirk Exploited Deepfake Tech After Husband's Death

May 13 2026

Candace Owens is back in the spotlight, and this time, she’s throwing some serious shade at Erika Kirk. Following the tragic murder of her husband, Charlie Kirk, Erika has become the focal point of Owens' latest podcast rants. In a jaw-dropping accusation, Owens claims that Erika has resorted to deepfake technology to mimic Charlie's voice, all for her own gain.

The sensitivity of these allegations is amplified by the fact that Charlie was murdered. Owens insists that her statements are merely her opinions, but she suggests that Erika has long had her eyes set on Charlie's TPUSA organization.

In a recent episode, Owens challenged Erika's assertion that Charlie had named her as the new head of TPUSA before his untimely death. Erika claims this announcement was made on record, yet no video evidence has surfaced. Owens is adamant that Charlie never made such a declaration.

Owens elaborated on why this situation is so troubling. She pointed out that the alleged fake announcement came just weeks after Charlie was killed during a speaking engagement. Instead of mourning her husband, Owens argues, Erika seems more focused on seizing control of his company.

During her chat with Megyn Kelly, Owens speculated that Erika might have fabricated details to justify her takeover at TPUSA. While these claims remain unverified, Owens has faced accusations of spreading misinformation about Erika. However, she maintains that if her version of events holds water, it would paint Erika as a 'ruthless psychopath.'

Owens didn’t hold back, suggesting that if Erika could deceive the public into believing Charlie entrusted his company to her, she must be 'devoid of any human emotion.'

'Let’s be clear, I’m not being dramatic. If this turns out to be real, I would assert that she is capable of real harm, that she's dangerous, and I would extend that to every person around her who approves that monstrous plan,' Owens declared.

But that's not all—Owens also accused Erika of fabricating her educational credentials, labeling the widow's claimed degrees as fictional. According to Owens, anyone who dared to question Erika's academic background was silenced by her supporters trying to keep the truth hidden.

'We keep being told it doesn't matter... her husband died,' Owens remarked.

Specifically, Owens alleged that Erika did not graduate summa cum laude or magna cum laude from Arizona State University as she claimed, nor did she earn a double degree from the institution. These assertions have yet to be independently verified.

As of now, Erika has not publicly responded to Owens' barrage of allegations. Historically, she has made it a point to counter various claims made against her by Owens. Just two weeks ago, Erika expressed her awareness of Owens accusing her of murdering Charlie, vehemently denying such vile allegations and lamenting the state of the world for entertaining such thoughts.
