Fox News Host Slams Trump: ‘It Feels Like B.S. At This Point’

Jul 16 2026

Jessica Tarlov, co-host of Fox News’ “The Five,” unleashed a fierce critique on Donald Trump’s assertions that the conflict with Iran is under control and nearing resolution.

She confronted co-host Jesse Watters after he claimed, “we have a good handle on things,” despite the resurgence of hostilities following a failed ceasefire.

Tarlov questioned, “Are you kidding?” She highlighted the Trump administration's inconsistent timeline for ending the war, which began in February, shifting from “24 to 48 hours” to “a few weeks,” and then “a few months.”

She remarked, “It’s been bridge and power plant day I think three times, threatening to end civilization,” while pointing out Trump’s repeated assertions that Iran desires a deal and that the war is almost concluded.

“It feels like B.S. at this point,” she stated bluntly.

Tarlov noted the failed strategies: “We’ve tried bombs, that didn’t work. We’ve tried diplomacy.”

Watters pushed back against her assertion that the bombing campaign was ineffective.

Tarlov countered: “If it was as obliterated as you say it is, we wouldn’t have any of these problems. That’s the truth.”

On X, Tarlov encapsulated her argument succinctly.
