Fox News Viewers Rage: Trump’s ‘Sad’ White House Tour Sparks Outrage
Fox News viewers are fed up with President Donald Trump after his cringe-worthy White House tour with Lara Trump, which many labeled as “sad.”
On May 30, the Commander-in-Chief strolled through the White House, including a construction site for a new ballroom, with his daughter-in-law during her show, My View with Lara Trump. Lara gushed about the “fun” Trump had overseeing the renovation, while he boasted it would be the “greatest facility of its kind ever built.”
Earlier that day, Fox & Friends teased Lara's interview, sharing clips on social media. While some MAGA supporters cheered the addition of the ballroom, critics slammed the extravagance, arguing that Americans are struggling and don’t need a lavish room most will never see.

Comments flooded in, with one user lamenting, “people are struggling so much and this is what he cares about ... So sad.” Another user vented, “We just want food and affordable healthcare.” A third added, “We have a ballroom yeahhhh ....but Trump’s economy sucks.”
One viewer exploded, “Americans are NOT INTERESTED in paying for his tacky ballroom and his bestie Bibi’s war!??! Enough!!! We’re struggling to buy FOOD, gas up our cars and pay housing. Trump promised AFFORDABILITY day one!”
Another commenter blasted, “AMERICA DOESN’T WANT TO PAY FOR A MONSTROSITY GAUDY BALLROOM,” while a sixth user claimed, “If he said he wanted to build a solid gold sphinx and it would cost 100 billion, Fox propaganda channel would be pushing it.”
Criticism continued as one viewer remarked, “Trumpanzees will pay more for everything while Trump focuses on enriching himself and decorating like Liberace and still love him more than they love country or god. ITS A CULT.”

Another frustrated viewer questioned the absurdity of the situation: “Can you imagine if Kamala was in there blissfully yapping about a ballroom she designed after getting us into a war with Iran? With inflation and fuel where it is now?”
Someone else chimed in, “HE HAS FAILED AT EVERYTHING!! Taxpayers are paying for it...IT’S NOT A GIFT!!!!” Another user asked, “We the people will never see the inside of it other than on television. So how do we benefit from this??”
Despite the backlash, some supporters praised the president’s vision. One supporter said, “Great episode, you rock. He is so incredibly passionate about building, just awesome. Love it.”
Another declared, “It’s gonna be so beautiful. I’m so glad someone is finally taking pride in how our great nation’s capital looks.” Yet another chimed in, “THIS IS Monumental In America’s History...”

During his chat with Lara, Trump insisted that the ballroom project is ahead of schedule and within budget. He claimed it would cost the nation “nothing,” framing it as a gift from himself and “great patriots.”
Trump asserted that future presidents would utilize his ballroom for “200 years,” while acknowledging he won’t enjoy it much himself. “I’ll have it for about six months. In other words, when it’s finished ... I’ll only have the use of it for six months,” he stated in the taped interview.
Before the interview aired, Fox & Friends discussed it with Lara, who described Trump as a “builder at heart.” She praised him for engaging with construction workers on site.
Lara emphasized that the ballroom is “so much bigger than a ballroom,” revealing Trump told her, “This is really for future presidents, for the future of America.” She concluded, “what a gift it will be!”
