Fox News Viewers Rip Donald Trump as 'Stupid Buffoon' Over Data Center Warning

Donald Trump, labeled a "stupid buffoon," faces fierce backlash after issuing a chilling warning regarding data centers and energy costs.

At an event on July 23, Trump, whose marriage to Melania is reportedly crumbling, unveiled a significant expansion of his "Ratepayer Protection Pledge" at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) headquarters. This initiative aims to expedite the construction of data centers, a move that has drawn sharp criticism from environmental and consumer advocates.

Recent polling reveals that opposition to the surge in AI data centers has skyrocketed, with approximately 70% of Americans rejecting such developments in their neighborhoods, according to a Gallup poll. This backlash follows an embarrassing incident where Trump's assistant was caught on camera being told to "change his diaper."

Environmental organizations, including the Sierra Club, have condemned the pledge as offering "paper-thin" consumer protections. They argue it lacks regulatory penalties or legal frameworks to ensure companies uphold their commitments amid rising energy costs.

Trump issued a stark warning to critics, asserting they "can’t fight" the new data center projects and must accept his plans. During the EPA event, he stated, "You have to convince your communities how great these things are. You can’t fight it. You have to go with it."

He claimed that the data centers would benefit local communities, insisting, "And you’re going to have all that protection, and we’re giving you automatic protection, but you’re going to make a tremendous amount of money, and reduce taxes. And you’re going to have something that, if you don’t have it, everybody else wants it."

Following his remarks, Fox News viewers unleashed their fury on social media, with reactions overwhelmingly negative.

One user on X blasted, "You’re the supposed dealmaker, Mr. President. Lead by example & go convince YOUR community how great a data center would be... for Palm Beach. You ignorant, elitist, stupid buffoon."

Another chimed in, "You are not convincing us, we are not going along with it, and we are going to fight it." A third sarcastically remarked, "Ah yeah nothing greater than polluting our water and destroying the land to build these massive AI slop centers."

A fourth user warned, "Remember this ten years from now, when most of us are out of work, hungry, homeless and fearful of the federal gestapo agents."

A fifth commenter concluded: "What protections? Our neighborhood has received only the protection WE fought for to keep these monstrous warehouses away from us. The gall of this man to say this to people that voted for him."

This backlash follows Trump's controversial announcement of his new plan.
