Jesse Watters' Outrageous Rant on Women's Education Sparks Calls for His Dismissal
Fox News viewers are calling for Jesse Watters to be fired after his recent tirade about women, which left many baffled and outraged.
During a segment on The Five, Watters launched into a rant about "highly educated, downwardly mobile" women who support Democratic Socialist candidates. He claimed that men are indifferent to women's educational achievements, suggesting that a college degree could actually harm their romantic prospects.
Watters, 48, made headlines for posting an intimate photo with his young wife while away from Fox News, but his latest comments have overshadowed that. He stated, "I wanna talk about these college-educated, downwardly mobile women, because it's mostly women."

He advised women to avoid taking out college loans unless they come from wealthy families, arguing that student debt could complicate their futures. "If you’re gonna take out a loan to get a degree in humanities or the social sciences, what are you thinking?" he questioned.
Watters continued, "You’re gonna be 28 years old, and you’ll have no skills and no experience, and you’re not gonna take an entry-level offer because you think you have this big, fancy degree, that you’re worth more." He added that many women would be unable to accept entry-level salaries due to their financial burdens.
He claimed these women aspire to live in Manhattan but often end up back at their parents' homes because of their student debt. "And that is going to kill your love life," he asserted.
Watters warned that these women would look around and see their peers doing better because they have been in the workforce longer. "So then you’re gonna be resentful," he said. "And then you’re gonna get bitter because you are single, and if you are a woman, men don’t care if you have a PhD. That is not high on our list of attributes."

He further suggested that women who are not "in the market" will become "angry," "ugly," and develop a "bad attitude." He stated, "No one wants to hire anybody with a bad attitude. Nobody wants to date anybody with a bad attitude."
Watters offered unsolicited advice, saying women could "dig yourself out of that hole" by taking jobs in different fields or moving elsewhere. He suggested that finding love would be easier with another income.
His comments ignited significant backlash on social media. Many Fox News viewers expressed their outrage, arguing he should not be allowed to voice such opinions on mainstream television.
A viewer on X wrote, "This absolute poor excuse of a man needs to be taken off the air and thrown into a f---ing cage. Or better yet a really deep dark hole." Another user tweeted, "This guy shows up in my feed every day oozing misogyny. He really can’t help himself."

One commenter stated, "He speaks on behalf of all the un-f---able, glass-fragile MAGA incel men and their failed little pathetic lives, who are all just so incredibly threatened by a college-educated woman."
Another user reflected, "It’s amazing his female co-workers put up with this f---ing pig." A different comment read, "It’s kinda baffling how the republican party line is now just straight up misogyny."
Another shared, "@JesseBWatters apparently cannot conceive of a female who doesn’t define her self-worth by her attachment to a man."
These sexist remarks come just days after Watters sparked controversy with a divisive joke.
