Jesse Watters Ripped Apart by Fox News Viewers After 'Morally Bankrupt' Vasectomy Comment
Jesse Watters ignited outrage by declaring that vasectomies render men “less of a man.”
During a segment on Fox News’ The Five, Watters made this incendiary remark while discussing polling data in a Senate race. The focus was on Democratic candidate Haley Stevens, who has surged ahead with a nearly seven-percentage-point lead over Abdul El-Sayed.
As Watters lambasted Stevens’ policies, co-host Jimmy Failla posed a question to Democratic strategist Jessica Tarlov. This occurred amid ongoing criticism of Fox News, which has been labeled a 'propaganda outlet.'

“Jessica, will you donate to Jesse’s kids college fund?” Failla asked. Tarlov shot back, “I don’t think so, I think Jesse will be just fine. If he sticks with four. If you have any more, I think it’s gonna be tough for you.”
Watters interjected, “No, we’re not having any more,” to which Tarlov added, “The shop is closed.”
Watters then felt the need to clarify, “I did not get a vasectomy, if that’s what you’re talking about. I did not get a vasectomy!” Tarlov countered, “It’s also okay if you get a vasectomy,” asserting, “Getting a vasectomy doesn’t make you any less of a man.”
Watters retorted, “I think it does. To me it does.”

The exchange triggered a wave of backlash online, with viewers expressing their outrage. One user on X remarked, “With or without it, if he were any less of a man, he’d be wearing a skirt right now.”
Another chimed in, “He thinks drinking out of a straw makes you less of a man ffs, but that didn’t stop him from doing that.” A third user quipped, “Don’t worry @JesseBWatters, nothing could make you less of a man than the pussy you already are.” Another suggested, “I think every woman in America would chip in to give Watters the snip.”
Criticism continued to pour in, with one commenter stating, “Why would he? Blow up dolls can’t conceive.”

“How would Jesse Watters even know what masculinity is or means?” another user questioned. “Hard to get a vasectomy when you have a vagina,” read another post. One user labeled him “Total a–hole. Utterly immoral. A human disgrace,” while another added, “To be less of a man Watters will be running in negative numbers.”
This backlash follows Watters’ unexplained absence from The Five earlier this week, raising eyebrows among viewers.
On July 6, the show featured Kennedy, Jessica Tarlov, Dana Perino, Johnny Joey Jones, and Tom Shillue. Both Watters and fellow panelist Greg Gutfeld were missing without any explanation provided during the broadcast.
Viewers quickly took to social media to question why the longtime host was absent from the lineup.
