Jordan Klepper Stuns MAGA Voters with Questions on Communism—Chaos Ensues
“That’s a hard term, you know,” one Trump supporter stammered when asked to define communism, exposing a shocking lack of understanding among the crowd.
Jordan Klepper, in his segment “Fingers on the Pulse,” confronted supporters outside Trump midterm rallies, where fears of “socialism” and “communism” infiltrating America dominated their rhetoric.
Despite the fervor, many couldn’t articulate what those terms actually meant. “It’s just almost easier just to throw it out, incite some fear, and then move on,” Klepper shot back, highlighting the absurdity of their claims.
Responses varied from silence to vague assertions about freedom. One man claimed communism is when “they’re gonna control you,” while a couple simply declared the U.S. as the greatest country in the world, seemingly oblivious to the topic at hand.
Klepper pivoted to government handouts, specifically referencing Trump’s promise of $5,000 checks if Republicans win. “You don’t like the handouts?” he pressed a woman.
“No. There’s some people that need help, but we got too many people who shouldn’t be on it,” she replied, contradicting her enthusiasm for the proposed $5,000 checks.
The couple earlier expressed disdain for “free stuff” yet lit up at the mention of the checks. Confusion reigned as one man broke from the crowd, voicing skepticism about the payments.
“I’m not sure I like that,” he said, prompting Klepper to inquire why.
“Because it looks like he’s paying people to vote for him,” the man admitted, a rare moment of clarity amidst the chaos.
“It does look like that,” Klepper agreed, underscoring the contradictions in their beliefs.
