Jordon Hudson Questions NBC's Decision to Dismiss Chris Simms Amid Scandal Involving Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini
Jordon Hudson is raising questions about the recent dismissal of Chris Simms from NBC’s Football Night in America, suggesting a connection to the ongoing controversy surrounding Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini.
“Why aren’t we discussing this? @ProFootballTalk?” Hudson, 25, posted on X on April 28, hinting at deeper issues at play.

Her tweet accompanied a clip featuring Simms, 45, conversing with cohost Mike Florio on PFT Live. In the brief video, Simms seems poised to reveal insights from NFL coaches and their spouses regarding the Vrabel-Russini situation.
Hudson also shared a screenshot from a notorious CBS interview with her boyfriend, Bill Belichick, where she deflected a question about their relationship's origins. The caption read, “We’re not talking about this.”
“I’d shoot you straight,” Simms stated in the video shared by Hudson. “These are things I’ve been texting about with my friends in the coaching world. Even their wives are involved in the conversation as well.”
Florio, sensing potential controversy, interjected. “Stay on target,” he quoted from Star Wars.

He added, “There’s a lot there and there’s only so much that is reported and known.”
Simms humorously retorted, “In Star Wars do they have a thing called shut up and just let the person talk?”

On April 27, during another episode of PFT Live, Simms candidly discussed his exit from NBC, telling Florio, “I’m not on the show anymore, Mike.”
“I don’t know if anyone told you,” he continued. “I will not be part of Football Night in America. They informed me last week, so that’s just going to be a different aspect. That hurt because I do love it.”

NBC is currently undergoing significant changes in its Football Night in America lineup, having already parted ways with former Colts head coach Tony Dungy while bringing in ex-Steelers coach Mike Tomlin. Reports suggest that cohosts Rodney Harrison and Jac Collinsworth may also be at risk of losing their positions.
Tomlin, 54, made his NBC debut on April 26. “I just thought it’d be a great way to stay connected to the game and the awesome people in it,” he expressed during the broadcast. “I love to talk football, and so that’s just an exciting component for me. I gotta admit, though, it’s going to be some anxiety about stepping into a new space, but good anxiety.”

He added, “And lastly, I just thought it would be awesome to share insight with fellow football lovers… It’s good to be uncomfortable, to grow, to associate it with that. But man, I’m fired up about it.”
