Kate Cassidy Ditches Liam Payne Tribute Tattoo Amidst Grief and Ink Regrets
Kate Cassidy is scrapping a tribute tattoo to Liam Payne, a move that underscores her ongoing battle with grief.

On Tuesday, she posted a photo from Skin Club Miami laser studio on her Instagram Story, bluntly stating, “tattoo removal today.”
A video showcased the laser treatment targeting a “444” tattoo, originally inked in memory of Payne following his tragic death in 2024.

However, Cassidy clarified that the removal stems from poor execution, asserting she plans to redo the tattoos later.
She has multiple tattoos honoring Payne, including angel wings, the number four on her left ring finger, “LP” on her wrist, and a wilted rose on her thumb.

The “444” tattoo, inked nearly two years ago, was reported to symbolize the couple’s “angel number,” representing “love and support.”
Payne's life ended in October 2024 when he fell from a third-floor balcony in Buenos Aires after hotel staff locked him in his room while he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He was 31.

A year after his death, Cassidy revealed it took her two months to navigate through “grief and pain” before she could start to “live my life” and accept the tragedy.
The tattoo removal process is notoriously challenging, though Cassidy’s limited ink likely requires only a few sessions.

In contrast, Pete Davidson recently showcased nearly bare arms after investing close to $200,000 to eliminate most of his tattoos, a process he has been undergoing for six years and expects will take another decade to finish.
It remains uncertain whether Cassidy will restore the same designs or opt for new ones.
