MTG Slams Fox News: Ex-Congresswoman Claims Channel is ‘Misleading Boomers’
Former congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has unleashed a barrage of criticism against Fox News, labeling the network as “misleading boomers” and accusing it of disseminating “fake news” in the context of President Donald Trump’s military actions in Iran.
Once a staunch supporter of Trump, Greene has frequently appeared on the MAGA-friendly channel but has now taken issue with its portrayal of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
“Fox News is now the fake news,” Greene declared in a post on X, reacting to reports of thousands of U.S. troops being deployed to the region, a move she vehemently opposes. “They’re brainwashing boomers to support what we voted against.”
This outburst came in response to comments from conservative commentator Ann Coulter, who also criticized the network’s narrative.
Coulter remarked, “Watching Fox News assure viewers the Iran war is going SUPER well and Trump is a total stud is like watching the same network assure viewers that Dominion Voting Systems rigged the 2020 election and Trump was the winner,” highlighting the network's controversial history.

Her comments referenced the scandal involving Rupert Murdoch’s network, which faced a $787 million settlement after falsely claiming that Dominion voting machines manipulated the 2020 election results.
Fox News has yet to respond to requests for comment regarding Greene's allegations.
In a recent appearance on Fox News’ The Five, Trump defended military actions in Iran, asserting that Operation Epic Fury has weakened the Iranian regime. Additionally, host Mark Levin discussed various justifications for troop deployment during a weekend segment.
Despite this, a recent poll published by Fox News revealed that 59 percent of Americans disapprove of Trump’s performance as commander in chief, with 58 percent opposing military involvement in Iran.
Trump expressed his disdain for the poll during his interview, stating, “I hate Fox polls. Honestly, whoever does your polls are terrible,” criticizing the network’s polling methods.

Greene, who previously represented Georgia, has openly criticized Trump for engaging in military conflict, arguing it contradicts the “America First” agenda.
“It’s a cruel irony that the American troops soon to be sent into Iran will be Gen Z and millennials (again), by the very President and administration that promised no more foreign wars,” Greene stated on Monday, emphasizing her discontent with current policies.
Her relationship with Trump soured last year after she persistently called for the release of Jeffrey Epstein's files, leading her to become one of his most vocal critics.
The White House responded to Greene's remarks through spokesperson Davis Ingle, who stated, “There is nothing more ‘America Last’ than quitting on your constituents and the MAGA movement in the middle of your term. President Trump is fighting every single day to Make America Great Again – we don’t have time for quitters.”
