President Donald Trump, while enjoying a weekend of golf in New Jersey, finally addressed the deaths of two U.S. service members killed by Iranian missile strikes on a base in Jordan.

In a conversation with a correspondent, Trump expressed his feelings about the fatalities, stating it was "very sad." He added, "We hate to see it happen," but quickly pivoted to his stance on Iran, insisting, "we're never going to allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon."

This response follows a wave of criticism directed at Trump, with viewers labeling him an "incompetent fool." The president's comments came just one day after the attack that claimed the lives of the service members.

When asked about Iran's announcement that it would no longer adhere to a Memorandum of Understanding, Trump bluntly stated, "I couldn't care less."

Reactions poured in online, with one user accusing Trump of starting illegal wars and claiming there is "blood all over Trump's hands." Another user described him as "a horrible, fat joke" and "the most corrupt, unintelligent and useless t--t to ever attain the presidency."

Comments continued to flow, with one individual calling Trump "a filthy, rotten liar." Another user remarked on Trump's bizarre claim that Canada is invading the U.S. with wildfire smoke, suggesting it reflects his disturbing clarity regarding the Iran conflict.

One commenter expressed frustration at the desensitization of voters, stating, "You voted for a soulless POS! He does not GAF about anyone or anything that doesn’t benefit HIM!"

Another echoed this sentiment, criticizing Trump's indifference towards Iran's actions and questioning his concern for U.S. troops: "He really doesn’t give a s--t about our brave men and women in uniform!"

As of now, 16 service members have died due to actions linked to Trump's decisions regarding Iran. Critics point out that he dismantled the deal established by his predecessor, which has led to escalating tensions.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth responded to the tragic news on social media, stating, "Godspeed, heroes. Their sacrifice only stiffens our resolve."

U.S. Central Command reported that on July 17, two service members were killed in action while defending against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing, and four others were medically evacuated but have since been discharged.
