Trump's Health in Question as Alarming Bruises and Odd Movements Raise 'Mini-Stroke' Concerns
Trump's recent rally in Sioux City, Iowa, raised eyebrows as he exhibited alarming behaviors that observers likened to a “mini-stroke.”
Described as “falling apart,” the president made involuntary noises and strange facial expressions, alarming attendees. His hands showed increased bruising, concealed under layers of foundation, as he paused mid-speech to make a “bizarre face” with his jaw dropping wide open.

“Seriously, he’s falling apart very rapidly. He’s having multiple incidents like this in a single speech. They can’t hide it behind a garbage medical exam that says he’s 6'3" and 215 lbs anymore. It’s all happening under the bright lights,” stated former GOP member John Jackson.
Online reactions varied, with one user commenting on the irony of Trump becoming what he has mocked, while another noted, “What is that, two days in a row where he’s had a mini-stroke at the podium.”
During the rally, Trump stumbled over his own nickname for Joe Biden, mistakenly calling him “Sleepy Joe Bottomun.” He also emitted strange sounds while discussing “jihadists,” further fueling concerns about his health.

A clip shared by journalist Aaron Rupar captured Trump saying, “If you don’t want communists controlling the U.S. Senate, which is between…” before making a sound resembling “JAIIIIIIT.”
Commentator Brian Krassenstein remarked, “For the second night in a row, Trump has a weird burp-hiccup type sound emanating from his body.”
In addition to his odd noises and facial expressions, Trump’s hands were visibly bruised and covered with makeup. Observers noted that both hands appeared to be affected by suspected bruising linked to his chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) condition.

Rupar pointed out images showing Trump’s right and left hands looking severely bruised, stating, “Both are looking really bad, and he’s using makeup on each of them to try to mask it. (note how the left one is now looking just as nasty as the right one -- that’s new).”
On Wednesday night, at a rally in South Carolina, Trump made an unusual loud noise while discussing former governor Nikki Haley, surprising even himself during the speech.
Despite ongoing speculation about Trump’s health, the White House insists he is in perfect health but acknowledges his CVI diagnosis confirmed by White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt in the summer of 2025.
