Trump's Insane 589-Word Rant on 'Criminally Made Algae' Sparks Outrage

In a jaw-dropping display of absurdity, President Donald Trump unleashed a 589-word tirade on social media, fixating on the phrase “criminally made algae.” This bizarre outburst came amidst a chaotic stream of posts covering everything from a $600 million ballroom project to the World Cup.

Trump's rant specifically targeted the Reflecting Pool, which has been plagued by peeling paint and a massive algae bloom shortly after he touted its $14 million renovation as complete.

Experts have pointed fingers at the new “American flag blue” bottom installed by Trump, suggesting it may have inadvertently fueled the algae growth. Yet, Trump has repeatedly blamed “criminal, radical left vandals” for the pool's issues, despite lacking any evidence to support his claims.

“The Reflecting Pool is now in full use after suffering great damage from Criminal, Radical Left Vandals, people that truly hate our Country,” Trump declared in his lengthy Sunday afternoon post on Truth Social.

While several individuals have been arrested in connection with the Reflecting Pool, no proof exists linking vandalism to its current state. One of those arrested, three-time Olympic canoeist David Hearn, stated he merely touched a loose piece of the blue bottom and did not cause any damage.

“I did not remove, I did not damage, I did not rip, tear, break, destroy or harm any part of the Reflecting Pool,” Hearn asserted.

Just last month, Trump boasted that the new bottom was akin to “powerful rubber” and impervious to cutting. However, in his Sunday rant, he claimed that supposed vandals had “butchered a 350-foot long strip” and “put their hands underneath the surface, and ripped it.” He ominously announced plans to drain the pool again after July 4 “to treat the damage caused by these ‘animals.’”

“In the meantime,” he added, “it is working well, the criminally made algae is gone, and the grass, which was destroyed, is being replaced shortly.”

Critics were left incredulous at the sheer lunacy of Trump's statements.
