Trump's Young Aide: A Devoted Shadow or a Dangerous Obsession?

Donald Trump claims his 34-year-old aide, Natalie Harp, will "never leave me," according to a new book that exposes the depths of their peculiar relationship.

Authors Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan dive into the dynamics of Trump's inner circle in their latest work, Regime Change. Harp, dubbed "the human printer," has been glued to the 80-year-old president's side, reportedly carrying a portable printer to churn out news articles and social media content on demand.

The book details Harp's past, where she credits Trump for saving her life through his 2018 Right to Try legislation, which allowed her access to experimental cancer treatments. She remains on standby with a laptop, ready to fetch any information Trump desires.

Trump's characterization of Harp's loyalty is striking. He allegedly tells his staff that she loves him as much as his family does, stating, "All of you will go off and make money. She'll never leave me." This unwavering commitment has reportedly raised eyebrows with White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.

Intimate letters from Harp reveal her deep devotion. One message reads, "You are all that matters to me," while another expresses her fear of disappointing him. She also wishes to discuss "everything and nothing" with him.

The situation has become so bizarre that Wiles reportedly questioned her surroundings, thinking, "Where am I?" Harp is also believed to manage Trump's posts on Truth Social, often crafting the messages herself.

In a particularly strange incident, Harp showed Trump a video of conservative pundit Charlie Kirk's death in September and ensured both authors received a controversial piece praising the president. Trump mistakenly identified the writer as a historian.

In reality, the writer was golfer Gary Player's caddy, who simply enjoys historical literature. The article drew comparisons between Trump and notorious figures like Hitler and Genghis Khan. Trump later referenced this piece when discussing his power during a potential second term.

The book also highlights Harp's enthusiasm for Trump's White House redecoration projects. One morning, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt found Trump attempting to glue gold decorations onto the marble fireplace mantel. Known for his DIY aesthetic preferences, Trump's actions surprised no one in his inner circle. However, Harp's exuberance stood out as she praised the glittering display.
