Trump Shares Disturbing Video of Florida Murder, Blames Biden Policies

Apr 10 2026

On Thursday, Donald Trump posted a harrowing video depicting a brutal murder, claiming it exemplifies the consequences of current immigration policies. The footage shows a man, labeled by Trump as “An Illegal Alien Criminal from Haiti,” attacking a woman in Florida with a hammer.

“This heinous act was committed by an individual released into our country by the WORST President in History, Crooked Joe Biden, and the Radical Democrats in Congress,” Trump stated on Truth Social, emphasizing his narrative that the incident reflects broader failures in governance.

He continued, “The video of her brutal slaying is one of the most vicious things you will ever see. This animal was allowed to stay here because the Biden Administration granted him, and all Haitians, ‘Temporary Protective Status,’ a massively abused and fraudulent program.” Trump's comments highlight his ongoing criticism of immigration policies he deems ineffective.

The incident occurred at a gas station in Fort Myers, where surveillance footage captured the attack. The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, was reportedly employed at the gas station. Rolbert Joachin, 40, has been charged with her murder, according to court documents.

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that Joachin will face deportation. “On April 3, [the Fort Myers Police Department] responded to an emergency at a local gas station,” the DHS stated. “Surveillance footage showed that Joachin smashed the victim’s car windshield, approached her, and repeatedly hit her in the head with a hammer—violently killing her in broad daylight.”

In a controversial claim during his 2024 campaign, Trump previously suggested that Haitian immigrants were engaging in bizarre behaviors, such as “eating the pets” of residents in Springfield, Ohio. He reiterated his frustrations on Thursday, asserting that “Deranged Liberal District Court Judges” are obstructing his attempts to revoke temporary protective status for these immigrants.

Interestingly, Trump's post came shortly after First Lady Melania Trump held an unexpected press conference addressing her connections to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. This timing has fueled speculation regarding the president's own associations with these figures.

“I don’t recommend you watch this tape, because it is so terrible,” Trump cautioned. “But I felt I had an obligation to put it up so that people can see what Democrats are protecting and wanting to come into our Country, even now, after all we’ve been through.”

He concluded with a stark warning: “Again, viewer discretion advised — Not for children!”
