White House Crashes Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Wedding with Trump Troll
The White House took a shot at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, injecting President Donald Trump's name into the mix with a provocative social media post.
The official account on X shared a photo of Madison Square Garden lit up with massive pink signs proclaiming, "TRUMP IS YOUR PRESIDENT." The caption read, "IT'S HAPPENED!!!" This move came as the couple tied the knot in front of a star-studded crowd.

Swift and Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden drew significant attention, especially after reports surfaced that one of Swift's wedding staff was fired for breaching a non-disclosure agreement prior to the event.
Critics quickly responded to the White House's post, accusing the administration of using the celebrity wedding to provoke Swift. One user remarked, "Taylor Swift living in Trump’s head rent free," while another called the post "so f-----g corny it’s painful to watch."
Madison Square Garden also celebrated the couple's nuptials with its own tribute, displaying a sign that read "JUSTandT MARRIED," cleverly referencing their first names.

According to a statement from the couple's representatives, actor and comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, highlighting his close friendship with the pair.
In a break from tradition, Swift and Kelce chose not to have a conventional wedding party. Swift's brother, Austin Swift, served as her "Man of Honor," while Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, took on the role of best man.

The couple's wedding attire was designed by Christian Dior Haute Couture. Jonathan Anderson, the creative director for Dior Women’s, Men’s, and Haute Couture Collections, worked closely with them on their outfits. Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift completed her bridal look with Cartier jewelry.
The public has been captivated by Swift and Kelce's relationship since it became public in 2023. Their romance has merged Swift's global fanbase with Kelce's NFL fame, creating a media frenzy.
The White House's post added a political twist to an already scrutinized celebrity event. Swift has faced ongoing criticism from Trump and his supporters, particularly following her political endorsements and calls for voter engagement.
