Social media influencer Druski, known for his provocative content, has stirred controversy with a parody video that many believe caricatures Erika Kirk.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz did not hold back in his condemnation of the video, which features Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, donning prosthetics and makeup to resemble Kirk. The footage includes a staged press conference where the character declares, "We have to protect all men in America, especially all white men in America."
Critics argue that the portrayal is a mockery of Kirk, who gained public attention after the tragic assassination of her husband. Cruz labeled the video as "beneath contempt," while MAGA influencer Laura Loomer echoed his sentiments, calling it "depraved."
In one particularly striking scene, Druski's character performs a dance amid pyrotechnics reminiscent of those at Kirk's husband's memorial service. The video is titled "How Conservative Women in America act," further emphasizing its satirical intent.

The clip has rapidly spread across various social media platforms, including X, Instagram, and TikTok. Druski previously faced backlash for another controversial video where he portrayed a white NASCAR fan using similar makeup techniques.
This application of makeup has drawn parallels to the offensive practice of 'blackface,' where individuals use makeup to impersonate another race. One user on X remarked, "The NASCAR video was funny. It was harmless humor and that’s why most white people didn’t care. This is too far though."
Another user pointed out the insensitivity of mocking a widow, stating, "Imagine a white person dressing up as a 'black liberal woman' to mock them and posting it online..."

Responses varied widely; some users defended Druski's creativity, praising his makeup and costume design. One comment read, "Druski's makeup and costume design team is truly UNDEFEATED! First the insanely realistic NASCAR disguise, then the Megachurch Pastor, and now this wild 'Conservative Woman' parody?! Give his entire glam and wardrobe department an Emmy right now."
Since her husband's murder, Erika Kirk has become a significant figure within the Turning Point USA movement, drawing both support and criticism in equal measure.
