Hunter Biden Slams Trump Family: ‘Their Hypocrisy is Limitless’

Apr 15 2026

Hunter Biden has voiced strong criticism against former President Donald Trump and his family, accusing them of exploiting their political power while disregarding ethical concerns. In a recent conversation with Luke Radel for MeidasTouch, Biden addressed the issue of the Trump family's financial gains from their political influence.

When asked about the Trump family's alleged profiteering, particularly citing Jared Kushner's involvement in international peace negotiations linked to his real estate interests, Biden responded, “Yeah, their hypocrisy knows no bounds, is the way that I look at it.” He elaborated on the overwhelming nature of their actions, referencing a recent report about the family's cryptocurrency dealings.

Biden pointed to a CoinDesk article that claimed the Trump family’s cryptocurrency initiative borrowed $75 million using 5 billion of its own tokens on a platform co-founded by WLF adviser Corey Caplan. “It’s almost too much to keep up with,” he remarked, highlighting the ongoing controversies surrounding the family.

While expressing his belief in the potential of blockchain technology, Biden criticized the Trumps for allegedly corrupting the crypto space. “They’ve stolen a march on the sector and have corrupted it, almost completely,” he stated. He cited various examples of what he perceives as unethical practices, including Don Jr.'s executive club in Georgetown and defense contracts linked to Israeli technology.

“It’s just literally… almost on a daily basis, you realize that, as I’ve said to people, I will be surprised when they leave the White House if they have not taken the copper pipes out of the walls,” he added, emphasizing his disdain for their actions.

In related news, Eric Trump is set to join his father on a diplomatic trip to China in mid-May, as reported by Reuters. The White House and Trump Organization have been approached for comments regarding these allegations.

Hunter Biden, who has faced numerous unfounded accusations from Trump regarding influence peddling, reflected on the ongoing feud between their families. He recently challenged Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump to a cage fight, reigniting tensions.

During the interview, Biden expressed disappointment in the Democratic Party's leadership for not effectively countering Trump’s influence. He mentioned potential Democratic presidential candidates for 2028, including state governors Gavin Newsom, Josh Shapiro, and Andy Beshear, and praised Zohran Mamdani’s successful campaign for New York City mayor.

When asked about reforms to the presidential pardon system in light of Trump's frequent use of it, Biden responded cautiously. “To be honest, I don’t know whether I can be the one to fairly assess that,” he said, acknowledging his own bias due to receiving a pardon from his father. “I don’t think that the founders ever imagined Donald Trump. I don’t think they ever imagined the Trump family.”
