Trump's Aide Posts Dance Video While Nation Mourns Graham's Death
Donald Trump’s “most beautiful assistant,” Margo Martin, posted a video of the president dancing to a classic 1980s hit while the nation grapples with the death of Lindsey Graham.
In the footage, Trump, aged 80, showcased his signature dance moves at the Freedom 250 Grand Prix on Washington, D.C.'s National Mall. The video, shared on X, features Trump grooving to "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor, surrounded by Grand Prix race car drivers.

Martin captioned the clip, “President Trump dances to Eye of the Tiger.” This post surfaced shortly after Graham’s death, which has led to his sister stepping in to complete his term as senator.
Graham’s office confirmed his passing on July 11, stating he died at 71 “from a brief and sudden illness.” The family requested privacy during this difficult time.

In interviews following Graham's death, Trump expressed deep admiration for him. He described Graham as “a tough one to lose” and noted, “He was great - he was unique in every way... He was like a member of the family to me. It’s very tough.”
During a phone interview, Trump reflected on their last conversation, saying, “Well, it’s devastating. I thought he was fine. He called me last night. What a terrible loss it is. He was a great politician. He was a natural. There are very few of them.”

Graham was set to run for re-election in November, but his death has sparked speculation about who will take his place. He had recently won the primary election against Mark Lynch and was scheduled to face Democrat Annie Andrews in the general election.
South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster has the authority to appoint a temporary successor to fill Graham’s seat until the election occurs.

A special candidate filing window will open on July 21 for one week, allowing potential candidates to enter the race for the November election.
Trump hinted at having someone in mind to support for Graham’s successor during an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press. He stated, “I have somebody that I think would be great, but I don’t want to say it now because it’s just, you know, it’s too soon with Lindsey. I don’t want to even talk about anybody, but I do have somebody that I think is really good.”
