Trump's Tantrum: Oval Office Tablet Toss Shocks All
In a stunning display of frustration, President Donald Trump reportedly launched a tablet computer off his Oval Office desk during a failed video call with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
During a visit from French President Emmanuel Macron, Trump encountered technical difficulties that left him unable to participate in the call. The Wall Street Journal revealed that his irritation boiled over, leading him to throw the device onto the floor.
An eyewitness recounted the moment, stating that Trump “lobbed the device over the Resolute Desk.”
This incident is not an isolated event. Trump's history of throwing objects when displeased is well-documented. Just last month, he yanked off his microphone and tossed it to the ground in anger during a “Meet the Press” interview.
In a notorious episode following the 2020 election, Trump allegedly hurled his lunch against the wall. Cassidy Hutchinson, former assistant to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, testified in 2022 about the aftermath: “There was ketchup dripping down the wall, and there was a shattered porcelain plate on the floor.”
Hutchinson emphasized that this behavior was not rare. She noted, “There were several times throughout my tenure with the chief of staff that I was aware of him either throwing dishes or flipping the tablecloth to let all the contents of the table go onto the floor and likely break or go everywhere.”
Trump's volatile temperament continues to make headlines, with this latest incident further solidifying his reputation for explosive reactions.
