Trump's Wild Chart Claims Iran War is a Breeze, But Reality Says Otherwise
“Study this Chart! President DJT,” Trump declared, as if the world needed a lesson in absurdity.
On Wednesday night, the former president took to Truth Social, flaunting a bizarre chart titled “Lengths of Wars,” complete with his presidential logo. The visual is a head-scratcher, listing U.S. wars by duration in weeks, from longest to shortest.
At the top, the Afghanistan War reigns supreme at 543 weeks, followed by the Iraq War (457 weeks) and the Vietnam War (439 weeks). The Civil War, World War II, Korean War, and even the War of 1812 make appearances, each with their own lengthy histories.

But wait—at the very bottom lies Trump’s “Iran Excursion,” clocking in at a mere six weeks.
Let’s get real: the conflict in Iran kicked off over nine weeks ago on February 28, when U.S. and Israeli forces executed missile strikes that took out Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. And unlike the other wars listed, this one is far from over.
Social media users didn’t hold back in their reactions. “You know what all these have in common? At one point in time, they were only 6 weeks long…,” one Redditor quipped.

Another user pointedly asked, “Is he admitting that Iran is a war?”—a fair question given that Trump’s preferred term for the conflict is “excursion.”
“You must remember that, above all else, Trump is once-in-a-lifetime stupid,” another Redditor chimed in, summing up the general sentiment.
One particularly sarcastic user dissected Trump’s contradictory statements about the ongoing situation: “This war, which isn’t a war, is shorter than other wars, even though it’s already over, though it’s still running, because there’s a ceasefire, while there’s still hostilities, over a strait that’s open and closed, with a blockade—which is also an act of war, though it isn’t a war—which is on and off, because ships are being escorted safely until they’re not. Are we clear?”
