Cardi B is not holding back as she confronts fans urging her to stay single following her breakup with Stefon Diggs. “I’ve been seeing some suggestions like, ‘I want her to be single, I want her to focus on herself.’ Bitch, I’m not going to be single for the rest of my life,” she declared in a recent recording posted on X.
She emphasized her solitary status during her entire tour, stating, “Single, not talking to nobody, not entertaining nobody, not anything.”
The rapper, now 33, detailed her recent activities: “I’ve been going outside, chilling with friends, I’ve been vacationing, I’ve been drinking I’ve been having fun. I’ve been having a ball.”
Cardi acknowledged the need for companionship, saying, “But even me and my friends, even when we have a ball, we need some entertainment. Because at the end of the day baby, entertainment is needed.”
She admitted she could be “a little bit more exclusive” with her dating choices but refused to apologize for seeking relationships. “Could I pick better men? Probably. Maybe. So, whatever,” she confessed.
“I know you guys expect me to be single — I’m not gonna be single forever. I need to be entertained. Life is cool. Life is everything. But it’s just like, all right, the p—y needs love too,” she concluded.
This fiery response comes just weeks after rumors of her dating Nigerian soccer star Maduka Okoye surfaced. The two were seen flirting at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week.
On Monday, reports surfaced that Cardi and Okoye were spotted dining together in Italy. Video obtained by TMZ showed them at Gio’s restaurant at the St. Regis with a group of men.

However, as their connection seemed to intensify, Okoye’s ex-partner Jelicia Westhoff accused him of neglecting their 3-year-old son, Isaiah Emil Jr. Okoye. “Imagine I shut my f–king mouth, lied about what YOU did to me, so you could continue YOUR career and all you do is embarrassing [sic] US,” she wrote in a now-deleted post.
Westhoff claimed Okoye, 26, fails to call or see their son because he is too busy “punishing his mother and being a baddie on social media.”
She also alleged that he didn’t visit their child during a hospitalization last December and accused him of infidelity and physical abuse.
In an exclusive statement, Westhoff expressed no animosity towards Cardi but criticized Okoye’s public outings while neglecting his parental responsibilities. “[It’s] about you going out with any woman in public knowing that you don’t take care of your child,” she stated.
Cardi B's last known relationship was with Diggs. The couple debuted their romance in May 2025 amid Cardi's split from estranged husband Offset.
They welcomed their son last November. Diggs has five other children. Cardi shares three children with Offset (real name: Kiari Cephus).
