NYC Teacher Unleashes Antisemitic Rants on Podcast While Sporting Tinfoil Hat
A New York City public school teacher spews vile, antisemitic conspiracy theories on a podcast while wearing a homemade tinfoil hat. George Trim, 43, teaches social studies at IS 281 in Bath Beach, Brooklyn, and posts wild videos on his YouTube channel, Cartoonking365.
Trim's channel, MMEEDUCATING, launched on April 26, 2015, features him in various bizarre costumes, including a Guy Fawkes mask. He rants about conspiracies while clad in his signature tinfoil hat.
In a video from July 8, Trim, who earned $110,848 last year, claimed that WTC owner Larry Silverstein had prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks. “Before you have a 9/11, this guy just has the insight to get insurance against a terrorist attack on the Twin Towers. Okay, Larry Silverstein, you are you,” he declared.
On June 15, he accused Israel of involvement in the JFK assassination. “Jack Ruby, not Mr. Rubenstein... they keep telling us he’s part of the mafia... in Israel he’ll be referred to as Jacob Rubenstein; in America he’s Jack Ruby,” Trim insisted.
He continued, “The Jewish mafia’s involved... doesn’t that change a lot of things? Don’t we have to therefore... look into what happened with the fact that JFK was saying ‘hey, American Zionist party... y’all lobbying money but you need to label yourselves foreign entities. They decide not, same year he’s gone.”
In another video, Trim claimed the moon landing was a hoax. “They say ‘You crazy, how dare you not believe in the moon landing?... and just like that we went from not having any ability to ever go to outer space... and all the sudden we have made it to the moon,” he raged on March 25.
Trim began his career with the city Department of Education in 2009 and received a master’s degree from the University of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx in 2012. Public records confirm his salary of $110,848 in 2025.
The identification of Trim came from matching images on his YouTube account with photos from IS 281’s Instagram page. United Jewish Teacher President Moshe Spern criticized unchecked antisemitism in schools: “Antisemitic educators and schools continue to freely promote Jewish conspiracies, tropes, libels, and indoctrination that go unchecked by school leaders.”
A spokesperson for the Department of Education stated that the matter has been referred for investigation. “The views described do not reflect the values of New York City Public Schools and have no place in our classrooms,” the spokesperson said.
IS 281 faced backlash in June 2025 after hosting Syrian-American author Rhonda Rhoumani for a sixth-grade assembly. During her lecture on her book “Tagging Freedom,” Rhoumani displayed a map of the Middle East that omitted Israel entirely, labeling the remaining land as “Palestine.”
A DOE spokesperson confirmed that the lecture was investigated and “appropriate action was taken.”
City public schools have been plagued by antisemitism and anti-Israel indoctrination since the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7, 2003.
Trim could not be reached for comment. The DOE did not respond to requests for comment.
