Trump's Midnight Rants: A Chaotic Mix of Controversy and Claims
Late Tuesday night, President Donald Trump unleashed a barrage of posts on Truth Social, covering topics from NATO to the pope, showcasing a disjointed array of thoughts.
Amid ongoing backlash for a controversial AI-generated image of Jesus and sharp criticisms aimed at Pope Leo XIV, Trump intensified his rhetoric against the pontiff, particularly regarding his stance on the Iran conflict.
“Will someone please tell Pope Leo that Iran has killed at least 42,000 innocent, completely unarmed protesters in the last two months, and that for Iran to have a Nuclear Bomb is absolutely unacceptable. Thank you for your attention to this matter. AMERICA IS BACK!!!” he declared in one of his posts.

Shifting gears, Trump turned his attention to NATO, expressing dissatisfaction with the alliance. “NATO wasn’t there for us, and they won’t be there for us in the future!” he asserted.
The night continued with a series of posts linking to various news articles. One highlighted attorney Alan Dershowitz’s efforts to overturn his 2019 impeachment, while another accused the Biden administration of “weaponizing law to infringe rights of pro-life activists.” Additionally, he celebrated an appeals court decision dismissing a federal judge’s contempt investigation into the Department of Homeland Security.
Trump also promoted an upcoming interview with Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo, announcing its airing for Wednesday morning before sharing it again.

This marks the second late-night posting spree for Trump this week; the first occurred on Sunday when he shared an AI-generated image portraying himself as a Christ-like figure alongside further attacks on the pope.
