Trump's New Daughter-in-Law's Family Had a Scathing Insult for Him
Bettina Anderson's late father had a brutal take on Donald Trump, calling him a "slimy used car salesman from New York." This scathing remark came after Trump purchased Mar-a-Lago in 1985, a move that did not sit well with the "old money" Anderson family, who lived just two miles away.
On May 21, Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson wed in a private ceremony in West Palm Beach, Florida. The couple celebrated with family and friends, including Trump Jr.'s siblings Eric and Ivanka, who later jetted off to the Bahamas for further festivities. Notably absent was the 79-year-old patriarch, Donald Trump Sr.

Despite his absence, sources indicate that relations between Trump and the newlyweds remain cordial. However, Bettina's half-sister, Mea Stone, revealed lingering family tensions regarding their late father’s opinion of Trump. When asked if Harry Loy Anderson Jr. would approve of the marriage, Mea hesitated, stating, “I’d rather not comment on that. I don’t know.”
Harry Loy Anderson Jr. passed away in 2013, long before Donald Jr. and Bettina met at the 2024 Republican National Convention. Their romance ignited just a month later when they were spotted dining together in Palm Beach, leading to Donald Jr. ending his engagement to Kimberly Guilfoyle.

The couple's relationship quickly escalated, culminating in a romantic getaway to Italy shortly after they went public with their romance. Trump has remained relatively quiet about his son's new relationship but reportedly expressed satisfaction with Bettina's appearance and hopes for his son's happiness.
When asked about attending the wedding, Trump explained the complications of his schedule, citing pressing matters like Iran. He remarked, “If I do attend, I get killed. If I don’t attend, I get killed, by the fake news of course I’m talking about.”
The wedding faced logistical challenges that forced the couple to relocate their ceremony for an undisclosed reason.
