Tucker Carlson Slams Trump: “Shut Up, B****” on Podcast

Jun 25 2026

Tucker Carlson, once a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, unleashed a verbal assault during a podcast, telling the president to “shut up, b****” while dismissing his threats to Iran as hollow. This outburst came as Carlson criticized Trump’s aggressive stance towards Iran, a pivotal moment that severed their alliance.

During the “Jack Neel Podcast,” Carlson expressed disdain for Trump’s war rhetoric, claiming it was merely a façade to project strength. He stated, “Strong people don't brag about how strong they are. They just punch you in the face and end the conversation.”

Imitating Trump’s confrontational style, Carlson remarked, “Trump is very much ‘What’d you say,’” mimicking the president’s finger-pointing gestures. He made it clear he doesn’t take Trump seriously anymore.

The former Fox News host specifically referenced Trump’s threats to obliterate Iran’s civilization or escalate bombing campaigns if they didn’t agree to a ceasefire, only for Trump to backtrack repeatedly on these statements.

Carlson likened Trump’s bluster to someone who makes intimidating threats before a fight rather than someone who strikes without warning. He recalled his father’s boxing wisdom: “there’s two types of guys, and you gotta be careful of the second.”

Mediaite first reported Carlson’s scathing remarks, which are part of a growing list of criticisms aimed at Trump regarding the Iran conflict. Carlson has been vocally opposed to the war since June 2025, following Trump’s bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities.

In February, Carlson claimed he warned Trump that initiating conflict would damage his reputation. Since then, he has become increasingly vocal about his belief that Trump prioritizes foreign interests over American ones, declaring that the Iran war jeopardizes the future of the MAGA movement.

Carlson’s discontent with Trump extends beyond their personal relationship; it has influenced his support for the Republican Party. He has expressed regret for backing Trump in the 2024 election and hinted at withdrawing support from the GOP altogether.

Despite his criticisms, Carlson clarified that he doesn’t harbor hatred for Trump. “I don’t hate Trump. I’ve always liked Trump. I just am a shallow man. I like vulgar jokes. I’m easily entertained,” he stated, adding that he finds humor in many people, including Trump.

He lamented the impact of Trump’s Middle East decisions on the country, expressing grief over the consequences.

In response, Trump fired back at Carlson, labeling him a “low IQ person” who “has absolutely no idea what’s going on.”
