Trump Goes Off on Supreme Court Justices for Betraying His Trust

Donald Trump is not holding back. The former president unleashed a tirade against two Supreme Court justices he personally appointed, Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett, claiming they’ve failed to “remain true” to him by not consistently ruling in his favor.

In a late-night Truth Social rant, Trump lamented the possibility of the court striking down his executive order aimed at ending birthright citizenship. He specifically targeted Gorsuch and Barrett for their February decision to block his reciprocal tariffs program, a move he described as a “devastating” betrayal.

“I ‘Love’ Justice Neil Gorsuch!” Trump declared. “He’s a really smart and good man, but he voted against me, and our Country, on Tariffs. How do I reconcile this? So bad, and hurtful to our Country. I have, likewise, always liked and respected Amy Coney Barrett, but the same thing with her.”

Trump didn’t stop there. He accused the justices of inflicting financial harm on the nation: “They were appointed by me, and yet have hurt our Country so badly! Their decision on Tariffs cost the United States 159 Billion Dollars that we have to pay back to enemies and companies that have been ripping us off for years. It’s hardly believable!”

He even suggested a simple fix they could have implemented in their 6-3 ruling: “They could have solved that situation with a ‘tiny’ sentence, ‘Any money paid by others to the United States does not have to be paid back.’ Why wouldn’t they have done so?”

In a self-pitying tone, Trump continued: “I’m working so hard to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and then people that I appointed have shown so little respect to our Country. What is the reason for this? They have to do the right thing, but it’s really OK for them to be loyal to the person that appointed them to ‘almost’ the highest position in the land.”

He contrasted his appointees with Democrat justices, who he claimed remain loyal no matter what: “Democrat Justices always remain true to the people that honored them for that very special Nomination. They don’t waver, no matter how good or bad a case may be.”

Trump’s frustration peaked as he lamented: “I choose people to help our Country, not to hurt it, and now… they will be ruling against us on Birthright Citizenship, making us the only Country in the World that practices this unsustainable, unsafe, and incredibly costly DISASTER.”

The justices have yet to announce when they will rule on the contentious case known as Trump v Barbara. Meanwhile, Trump continued his wounded rhetoric: “I don’t want loyalty, but I do want and expect it for our Country.”

He speculated that Gorsuch and Barrett might have just “had a really bad day” when they ruled against him but warned: “Our Country can only handle so many decisions of that magnitude before it breaks down!”

“A negative ruling on Birthright Citizenship, on top of the recent Supreme Court Tariff catastrophe, is not Economically sustainable for the United States of America!” he exclaimed.

After the February ruling against his tariffs, Trump expressed his disappointment, labeling the majority opinion as “deeply disappointing” and criticizing conservative justices for their weakness.

“I’m ashamed of certain members of the court,” he stated. “Absolutely ashamed for not having the courage to do what’s right for our country.”

Trump didn’t hold back in his insults either, calling them “fools and lapdogs for the RINOS and the radical left Democrats,” and even branded Gorsuch and Coney Barrett as “an embarrassment to their families.”

In a flurry of social media activity, Trump also slammed Iran’s stance on peace talks as “totally unacceptable,” celebrated Republican primary defeats in Indiana, and took aim at Fox News for interviewing California Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna—whom he labeled a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

“No matter how ‘Fair and Balanced’ the day’s News at Fox may be,” Trump fumed, “the end result is destroyed by professional Liars, Conmen, and Liberal, Crooked Politicians.”

“This is why MAGA Republicans, who are actually close to 100% of the Party, hate Fox,” he concluded, despite acknowledging contributions from some of their anchors.
